Closing in on the Finish Line

October 10, 2021

Uplift, The Fulcrum Campaign for Catholic Education, closed in on its $66 million goal. The comprehensive campaign, which began in 2015, raised just over $61 million by the end of fiscal year 2021, with 3,400 donors taking part in the fundraising.

In addition to supporting Fulcrum’s three main programs—tuition assistance, school partnerships, and leadership training—the campaign will help fund the foundation’s newest programs: the Becraft Scholars Program and the Early Childhood Education Grant Program.

“We are so proud of our Fulcrum community that has stepped up beyond anyone’s expectations during this past year of unprecedented challenges,” said Shawn and Kathie Hoban, co-chairs of the campaign. “As we approach our $66 million goal, we are confident that our supporters will continue to carry us above our target, allowing generations of families to enjoy the blessings of a Catholic school education. We could not have accomplished this without the great effort, expertise, and support of the campaign leadership, volunteers, Fulcrum staff and, of course, the many donors who have stretched during these challenging times to bring our campaign to new levels of success. Thank you all for your support!”

Seeing a promising future.

“With the early leadership of Joe and Jenn Sprague, and now with the Hobans, we project to reach and hopefully surpass our campaign goal by the end of the year,” said Julie Coleman, Managing Director, Uplift campaign.
