Each year, the Fulcrum Foundation recognizes the outstanding benefactors of Catholic education at the Celebration of Light by presenting the Archbishop’s Award. This award affirms that the 72 schools in the Archdiocese of Seattle remain viable and continue to thrive thanks to the generosity of those who support them.

This year, the 2022 Archbishop’s Award will be awarded to all teachers, staff, and principals serving in archdiocesan schools who—with the support of the Office for Catholic Schools—went above and beyond to continue educating students throughout a global pandemic. The award will be officially presented at the Celebration of Light on May 20, 2022 at T-Mobile Park.

Catholic educators and staff members have worked tirelessly on the frontlines to bring the classroom to their students whether they were learning online, in a hybrid model, or in person. They continuously adapted to changing health mandates and classroom needs, always putting their students first.

We cannot thank them enough for their herculean efforts in creating safe learning environments for Catholic school students!
