Dear Friends, My father, Ted Hossfeld, was a passionate supporter of the value of a solid education and a life-long learner until he passed away last fall at age 89. Although he was not Catholic, he believed that the learning environment in Catholic schools was the best to be found. He studied Catholic schools and witnessed first-hand that they are unmatched in educating the whole person and delivering top-notch academics. When he made his estate plans, he put these beliefs into action and challenged us all by leaving a substantial gift for children of lower-income families to attend Catholic schools in western Washington. The funds from his gift to the Fulcrum Foundation are now available during this drive for a unique matching gift opportunity. The first 500 gifts made to the Fulcrum Foundation’s annual drive will be matched dollar for dollar*. In addition, a gift of $500 or more will be matched 2 for 1!* My dad’s hope was that others would act to support excellent, accessible education, and if you take advantage of this match, you will help his dream come true. Please be one of the first to act and provide critical support so Catholic schools can remain accessible to all children and continue their history of excellence. My family is so proud of Dad’s commitment to children through education, and on behalf of my father, thank you for joining him and extending his legacy in this way. Sincerely,
Bill Hossfeld
