Celebration of Light
Eighth Annual Celebration of Light a Success!The Fulcrum Foundation would like extend its gratitude to all those who attended this year's Celebration of Light gala. We are proud to announce that this year's event exceeded last year's total and our goals, raising more than $1 million! Celebration of Light supports Fulcrum's mission and operations, providing critical assistance to Catholic school children and schools in need. Many thanks for celebrating Catholic education! We hope to see you at next year's Celebration of Light on Friday, February 4th, 2011. 2009 Celebration of Light News: Annual Celebration of Light Raises over $800,000 The Foundation's primary fundraising event is the annual Celebration of Light dinner. The seventh annual event was on January 30th at the Sheraton Hotel in Seattle. More than 1,130 guests attended and the event was underwritten by $200,000 in business and private donations. The event is among the largest fundraising events in the region and the largest fundraiser for Catholic education in the country.
2008 Celebration of Light News: The Fulcrum Foundation is grateful to everyone who helped make the 2008 Celebration of Light the best ever! Thanks to your support and the generosity of the more than 1,150 guests present, Fulcrum raised more than ever before to support the mission and operations of the Fulcrum Foundation, ensuring that Fulcrum will again distribute more funds to Catholic schools in western Washington than in any previous year.
