Bishop Joseph Tyson Bishop Tyson is a graduate of St. Alphonsus grade school and Bishop Blanchet High School, where the seeds of a vocation to the priesthood were nourished. After his ordination in 1989, he served in several assignments before being appointed as pastor of St. Paul, St. Edward and St. George Parishes, with responsibility for three of Seattle's Rainbow schools. Through his tireless efforts, including a recent capital campaign, these schools have remained open and vibrant and continue to serve a diverse population. A man of many interests, Fr. Tyson is a teacher of catechists and deacon candidates for the Archdiocese. |
